Fossacesia (CH), October 4, 2016. The restaurant “Trabocco Pesce Palombo” hosted the National Final of the Adriatic Brodetto (a typical italian fish stew) Festival. Six chefs from the regions of the Adriatic coast participated in the gastronomic competition dedicated to a traditional dish of the Italian cuisine.

The event provided an opportunity to remember the Rete 8 Director, Pasquale Pacilio, died on July 29, who took part in the epilogue of the regional competition in June.

The participants were: for Abruzzo, the restaurant ” Il pontile ” of Ortona, for Molise “Molinett” of Termoli, for Veneto the restaurant in Venice “Noemi”, for Emilia-Romagna “La fattoria” of Riccione, for Marche “Amarantos” of Castelfidardo and from Puglia “Esco poco di sera” of Barletta. Among the judges, together with the President Walter Tosto, the cuisine academician Mimmo D’Alessio, the mayor of Fossacesia Enrico Giuseppantonio and the actress Franca Minnucci.

The dishes were evaluated by their presentation, balance and observance of local traditions.

The trophy “La Selva Pesca” was awarded to Chef Antonio Di Guglielmo of the restaurant “Amarantos” of Castelfidardo (Ancona).
