Students of the Master in Fusion Energy visit Walter Tosto SpA

We are glad for renewing the yearly meeting with the students of the Master in Fusion Energy of University “Tor Vergata” of Rome, who visited Walter Tosto manufacturing facilities dedicated to the Nuclear area together with Professor Francesco Romanelli of the Department of Industrial Engineering. After a theoretical lesson held by the staff of the company, the students were able to closely observe the several processes for the manufacturing of the ITER components.

Prof. Romanelli congratulated with Walter Tosto staff for “the profuse commitment in research and the high level of expertise, which represent an excellent incentive for young people”.

Massimiliano Tacconelli, Nuclear & Big Science Program Manager of Walter Tosto SpA, thanked the professors and the students of the University for their interest in the company, renewing Walter Tosto’s willingness to continue the collaboration also in the coming years.
