Walter Tosto to join the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance

We are pleased to announce that we have joined the “European Clean Hydrogen Alliance”, a project born on the initiative of the European Commission to lay the foundations for the diffusion of technologies related to hydrogen production from renewable or low-carbon sources. By bringing together the continent’s most important industrial and financial players around working tables and periodic forums, the European Union intends to assume global leadership in the sector, with the aim of maintaining its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, as required by the European Green Deal. To pursue concrete targets for the production and commercialization of clean hydrogen by 2030, the EU estimates that an investment of around € 430 billion will be needed.

The signing of the Alliance confirms Walter Tosto’s willingness to take a proactive role and to participate in investment projects to achieve the objectives set by the EU Hydrogen Strategy.

With our entry into the Alliance we will work together with potential partners to accelerate the implementation of solutions for the diffusion of zero-emission hydrogen in several industrial applications and energy systems.

In line with this commitment, Walter Tosto will make available its skills and knowledge in the engineering, design and manufacturing of critical components.
