New York, October 4, 2016. After a long journey by boat, the four legs of the New York Wheel manufactured by Walter Tosto SpA finally reached their destination.
The 2,400 tons pieces were stored at the Brooklyn Marine Terminal of the Port of New York, where all the components will be collected before being transported into the wheel site for the subsequent installation.
“The main pieces arrived from Italy are an important milestone for the wheel construction, which assembly phase will start soon” said Rich Martin, CEO of New York Wheel: “we will finally see the wheel completed on April 2018 “.
