The Abruzzo Region has approved the Professional Qualification in Pressure Equipment Operator, the first professional profile created by the needs of the companies operating in the pressure equipment  mechanical industry, an emerging and steadily growing sector.

The proposal was presented by Walter Tosto in collaboration with the Professional Institute U.S. Pomlio of Chieti, AIPE, CNA Abruzzo, CNA Chieti, CCIAA – Chieti, Special Agency of Internationalization, Nexus Srl and Llyod’s Register.

The professional profile, compared to the standard one (Mechanical Operator), gains more specialization in welding and machining processes, especially on industrial components for plants, which often require on site large-scale machining.

The qualification is obtained at the third year of the professional institute and establishes the activation of an internship program in the company.

Walter Tosto is excited about the recognition of the new professional profile that fully meets the skills requested by the company.
