Walter Tosto gains the AEO certification

The AEO certification (Authorized Economic Operator) is part of an EU qualification program which applies on business operators and their commercial partners which are involved in the international supply chain (manufacturers, exporters, shipping companies, depositories, customs agents, carriers and importers) which activities are regulated by the customs legislation and positively qualify with respect to the other operators, because of their liability and safety.

The community liability and the AEO-Full status (concerning both customs simplifications and safety compliance) are recognized after appropriate verifications performed by the national customs authority (the custom agency, for the Italian territory), to the organizations which fulfill the customs duties, respect the accounting system criteria, meet the financial commitments and to comply with adequate safety rules.

After the positive audit of the Custom Agency, Walter Tosto SpA obtained the three years validity status of AEO – Full, with great satisfaction for the teamwork which managed the qualification procedures.
