Rotterdam, Netherlands. Shipped in November 2016 from the Port of Ortona (Italy), the three reactors manufactured by Walter Tosto for the Rotterdam Advanced Hydrocracker Project (RAHC Project), arrived at their destination last December and have recently been installed in the Esso Nederland BV plant.

The three items have a total weight of 2.000 Tons, with a height from 25 m to more than 30 m with a diameter of 4.5 m.

The Hydrocracker plant produces low-sulfur diesel fuel and it is one of the most energy efficient refineries in Europe. In the new hydrocracker unit, energy efficiency will be further increased and the production will be further expanded to EHC Group II base oils for the automotive sector.
