Chieti, February 28, 2020. Today we had the pleasure of receiving the President of the Abruzzo Region, Marco Marsilio and the President of the Regional Council, Lorenzo Sospiri.

The representatives of the Abruzzo Region visited the company’s facilities, focusing in particular on the most cutting-edge workshop of Walter Tosto, dedicated to the manufacturing of components for nuclear fusion.

The President of the Region has shown particular interest in this field, having dealt in the past with the inclusion of research and development on nuclear fusion in the national energy plan.

For the occasion of the institutional visit, the delegates of the Region and the Company Managers talked on issues related to industry, infrastructure, growth and sustainability. They also informed the managers of the company that the NIAF (National Italian American Foundation) has awarded Abruzzo with the title of Region of Honor for the year 2020. In this regard, Walter Tosto was invited to participate in the ceremony that will be held in Washington DC in October 2020 in order to represent the business community.
