This item will be installed in the Shintech Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) plant of\u00a0Plaquemine, LA, USA.<\/p>\n

The Vinyl Chloride Monomer is a compound used to produce PVC, the world’s third-most widely produced synthetic\u00a0polymer\u00a0of\u00a0plastic.<\/p>\n

This Oxy-hydrochlorination Reactor is the fifth one supplied in seven years by Walter Tosto to our customer Shin-Etsu Chemical Co. Ltd, the largest chemical<\/a>\u00a0company in Japan.<\/p>\n

Manufacturing this particular type of reactor, which is the most critical component of the process, required high accuracy\u00a0to respect the tight tolerances given.<\/p>\n

We are proud for completing once again such a demanding project and above all to collaborate with an important company like Shin-Etsu, which we deeply thank for renewing its trust in Walter Tosto over the years.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
