The company Walter Tosto, which has been appointed for the manufacturing of components for the main international project on fusion energy ITER, supports three grants for the Master in\u00a0Fusion Energy \u2013 Science and Engineering<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 organized by the University of Rome \u201cTor Vergata<\/em>\u201d. Such a contribution is essential for young engineers\u2019 training who will deal with the development of new technologies in the nuclear fusion field.<\/p>\n On Wednesday July 6th the students will attend a lesson at Walter Tosto\u2019s headquarter, where the engineers of the company will illustrate the several phases of the project such as executive design, quality assurance, welding, NDE procedures, metrology and deformation controls. The students will have the opportunity to visit Walter Tosto\u2019s workshops in order to examine the manufacturing steps of the components which are currently being machined in Chieti.
