With a consolidated experience in the design and fabrication of critical items for the process industry, in particular Chemical, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas and Energy, today Walter Tosto is recognized worldwide as a leading manufacturer of top quality high pressure equipment and vessels.<\/p>\n

The company owns six workshops in Chieti (Italy), a seafront workshop in Ortona (Italy), directly connected to the main international ports and routes, a subsidiary facility\u00a0Walter Tosto WTB<\/em> based in Bucharest, and an additional plant in Olteni\u021ba, Romania with direct access on the Danube river.<\/p>\n

From the origins to nowadays<\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Over the last 60 years Walter Tosto has evolved from a local manufacturer of tanks to one of the worldwide most important industrial constructor of pressure equipment.<\/p>\n

Based in Italy, the company was founded in 1960\u00a0by\u00a0Walter Tosto and its first activity was related on tanks\u00a0manufacturing for the local wine enterprises and oil mills. In the 70’s the activity evolved first into the fabrication\u00a0of\u00a0pressure vessels\u00a0for LPG\/fuel and subsequently into the manufacturing of\u00a0long lead critical items\u00a0for the international Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power generation markets (1994).
\nToday the Group is managed by Luca Tosto, Walter Tosto\u2019s son, with the support of his\u00a0sisters Catia and Emanuela.<\/p>\n

Inauguration of the most innovative plant for electron beam operations<\/h2>

The EBM Project started in 2017 in order to construct an innovative plant for electron beam processing, a process in which high-speed electrons are concentrated in a thin beam and are directed towards the workpiece, generating heat that vaporizes the material. Depending on the intensity and focus of the beam, the tool can be used for welding, cutting and surface treatment of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. In addition to these processes, the machine will allow the printing of three-dimensional metal components.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\r\n
